has anyone or are you allowed to report or post about people bad driving habits caught on camera?. Can you actually get them charge?

It's temping to put my GoPro on my helmet and record maddening cell-phone users and texters and their license plates to somehow show police, especially in light of the recent fine increases and how dangerous this is, but I figure it'd just be like karma to turn around and bite me in the *** when a cop shows up at my door with video someone else took of a frisky on-ramp acceleration run I'd done hours earlier...
I suppose the latter may happen anyway so why not go for those that would put my life and limb in danger with their device-addiction?

Hey men you have a point. Its a hard debate. But in an event where someone did get hurt or maybe a near miss. Specially in our situation where we only need a small distraction from the drivers could kill us. As for the ramping we are definitely liable for it but we are at most putting ourselves in danger and less on them. Anyways. Maybe I should start a thread for people to post videos around gta of stupid drivers. If only they would admit it and learn from it.

IMO, one who is a habitual offender & posses danger for others should be charged.
I'm curious what she did legally wrong? Dick move yes, but I thought the lines on the roads didn't mean law. For example, it's common belief that you can't pass on a double yellow in Ontario, but you are legally allowed.
I was expected to see something pretty inane but yea that woman is a terrible driver..
Could still fall under dangerous (Ie wasn't a safe pass) but to me and its hard to tell on the video but she passed 30 meters within an intersection thats is forbidden I don't know the section tho
She did nothing wrong.. just ask some of the members here. it is akin to driving /riding on the shoulder. If you "MIGHT" be lowed or inconvienenced, then it is ok...lol

I am always wishing I had a camera to catch the crazy stuff that happens on my commutes. For example the other afternoon I was driving down the road and I see an Escalade rolling up to a stop sign on my right, driver is clearly the on phone so I downshift. The guy doesn't look and rolls right on through the stop sign so I hit the brakes. I am instantly a few feet behind the guy revving the **** outta my bike as he almost took me out. I follow him as he's weaving all over the center line and gravel shoulder. We stop at a light. I pull up tap on his window. He's STILL on his phone. I ask if he even saw me. (stupid question I just wanted to see what he said) He tells me he didn't see me. So I say that's because you blew the stop sign while on your phone you %&$^%#@. Then he tells ME I need to be more careful "out there" and starts going off about how his kids are in the back seat and to watch my language. I was holding up traffic (lights still red though) so I pull up to the line. Turn around to apologize to the car behind me and the guy makes some gestures pointing to the escalade that I interpreted as "No worries. **** that escalade." He must have seen it happen.

Its the principle of that maneuver. She did that **** to get one car ahead...
Passing a slowpoke on a double sided yellow on a country road is one thing, passing double sided yellows to get one car ahead on stop and go traffic is just asking for it
Also the guy was maintaining a following distance in the car in front. Its not like he was left lane hogging. That person is a bad driver.

Honestly - to normal drivers its not a crazy move, but for a rider it could turn into a very bad situation. Most drivers really have no respect for riders - unless they know someone who rides or ride themselves. I still blame MTO for not including road safety q's/observations for ALL types of vehicles in the G class licensing process. There really does need to be a basic level of understanding taught on motorcycles, transport trucks, etc...how many cars have I seen cut off a big rig or stop abruptly in front of them. I don't think they are all being ***holes - I really just think it boils down to ignorance and not understanding the dynamics of the road for those other vehicles.
Last year I had a car pull out from a residential area and almost run a friend and I off the road. We approached an intersection red light; I was going to smash his mirror off but realized it was someone I knew. He said sorry while smiling and laughing.
Most drivers are ignorant and think they're great drivers. The best we can do is stay calm (and not smash mirrors lol) and be happy w/ the fact that if we do get injured...well, your family can sue them even after insurance claims =)
