As a rider, the plate is situated on your bike directly Behind You and in most cases under yourass and out of your sight while riding. So if you spend a lot of time riding, its stock position, as required by law, shouldn't ever be an issue. Any time you try to modify it, you know you're only drawing attention from the cops. Why bother? Sooner or later you're gonna get hassled.
