Powervent water tank purchase?

I'm looking for some input as to where I can go to purchase a new powervent water heater in my house. I currently have a 50gal Rheem. Don't wanna pay $80+ for 3 months rental anymore.

Ya thanks, i just got back from enquiring with them. An equivalent unit will cost approx $1000 new and to buy out my current 12 year old rheem with reliance would be $340 plus HST...

At 12 years its nearing the end of its life...but as long as it lasts 1-2 years your ahead of the game...i'd say buy it out.
