power commander issue

I have a PCIII Serial installed on my ZX12. W
hen you load up the program it connects, but it doesn't show any values on the map.
(does show throttle/duty cycle/etc at the top)

I load a new map, and it loads on the pciii no problem. And you can tell the bike runs different that way too.

I exit the program, restart it, and its back to the same thing (the map isn't there)...

I'm guessing my pciii is junk.....

Send an email to Dynojet technical support. They answer their emails! Although there's only so much they can suggest and so much they can diagnose via email.

i'll do that thanks....
I figured since it was an old model they'd just tell me to upgrade or go pound salt

Have you tried updating your firmware from there website? Are you sure your not uploading the zero map? Give DYNOJET a call; the wait times on the phone are long, but if you get the right rep they will go above and beyond to assist in trouble shooting your problem. Is your unit purchased less than a year old? If so, you may qualify for an exchange if you truly have a troublesome unit.

P.s also check your bike specific forums, and see if anyone else has had similar problem's and what they did to rectify the issue.

the map i'm loading is a good map. all the values show up, and i'm able to send it to the pciii and it shows that it was loaded.

no I haven't tried to update firmware, not sure they even have updates for the serial models anymore.
Yes I have asked on a kawi forum that i'm on. Nobody knows there either.
Also sent and e-mail to tech support at power commander.

I'm leaning towards a bum unit.....
