powder coat or painting rims

I'm in the same boat. I found a good review on these guys... http://www.richardsonindustrial.com/

I haven't called for price yet. But the review was good & I'm more interested in a quality job than saving a couple of bucks.

If you end up getting them done & it's quality. Post back so I can do mine too.

Total Coatings in Stoney Creek did my rims. I'm very pleased with them.

Powdercoat is a lot better and more durable than paint.
 
I'm also interested in this. I need a $ ballpark figure. How much would 2 rims cost to powder coat? I don't want to waste time finding out it's going to cost $500.
 
Depends on colour, whether your rims need blasting first and if you can strip them yourself.

If you take in bare rims (no bearings, tires, rotors and have them taped off and ready for powder) you should be able to get them done for about $50/rim or less for basic colours.
