I found a bunch of gel filled inline 3M Scotchlok connectors and tapped into the existing wiring. Put my own connectors before plugging in the auxiliary turn signals etc. Satisfied for now.
I either use coloured heat shrink or coloured wire to colour code for easy assembly.
Also, in my travels I came across these piggy back fuse connectors. Wouldn't work in this application but might be useful for others.
