Please read. I need your opinion regarding exp license

Hey guys. First off, thanks for taking the time to possibly read my post (:

It's regarding statefarm insurance.
Heres the scenerio


Friend got
G1 in 2007
G2 in 2010
G2 expired in 2012
G1 attained in 2012
G2 in 2013
G this month

With this will statefarm consider him having 5 years of driving xp or did it get restarted as well.
 
I believe your G2 only counts as 1 year no matter how long you have it. I would call and ask to be sure.
 
Thanks guys. The reason i asked is because he just did his m1 exit a couple weeks ago and i know for a fact thay first year riders have it bad in insurance unless you qualify for SF (this is base on my experience). SF agent said to me before that having you M1/M2/M would result in the same premium (again based on my experience)
 
Definitely just call and ask and get an accurate answer, post results here when you get them.

I would assume since you had a lapse in license, that it would go from your second G1.
Also, how did you get your G2 and G the same year? I thought you had to wait a full year?

Well i dont know how it works exactly because it didnt happen to me. I was as confused as you but he said that hes allowed to take G1-G2-G within half a year

anyways. Ill update you guys regarding the matter once he called

Sent you a PM with a good SF agent to call. She's swung the 5yr license deal for friends when other agents said they didn't qualify!!

becareful with that I was quoted $123 a month later they called and said head office went over the quote and it's $175 now I was ******
