Pictures of thieves who stole my Ducati 1098S - garage security camera

That's the price we pay brotha, I'm not gonna stop owning my dream bikes just because it's been stolen here and there... true, why bother then. Just own a **** box bike!

You have a great attitude about all of this.. good for you. I don't think anyone should ever stop themselves from doing what they want because of fear. F*** those thieves.

now they have a brand new GPS unit to sell as well ! there is no escape

Sadly but true, if thieves want something and it catches their attention they would do anything to get a hold of it.

Only way to get around it is make your bike only accessible to yourself. Since you have money might as well hire a security guard to watch over your bike, get several pitbulls, add boobie traps and make sure they dont get away.

LOL at the 240p video. Even Toronto traffic cams are at either 240p or 360p, how hard is it to upgrade?
Sucks living in 3rd world Canada.

As bad as it may seem everybody has said the same thing to me too, they didn't expect 2 white dudes jacking my bike. Just tells you how ignorant people can be, to be expecting certain type/race of people who steal motorbikes.

Sorry, my original comment was should have been "older fat guy" as I expect the thieves to be younger guys who look the type to ride/sell sport bikes

3 words,radioactive proximity bomb.

Enter a code or have a friggin proximity sensor (like on those start/stop cars) or the bomb BLOWS. Doubt they have a bomb defuser handy. And when it blows the signature will be spottable from satellite.

Sorry. Thieves frustrate me. And ive been watching too many lame spy TV shows.

Geez, why attack the guy whose bike was stolen? You sound vaguely jealous that he can afford the bike he wants....

I applaud any attitude that does not give into thieves. It is a crying shame that riders expect other riders to completely alter their way of doing things to avoid theft...

Btw, I doubt the thieves are going to church to pray for the victim. I suspect you mean prey.... :)

Yeh I guess this dude has money and got his parents to pay for his ****. Why does he care about it getting stolen right?!?!? (Sarcastic) Even when his insurance premiums increase for the next several years etc and he has a list of claims with the same reason (motorcycle stolen), his insurance company will increase it so much that he would be turned off with the cost or better yet not even insure him due to his risk level. Well I guess if you have the money you can afford paying the same cost of the bike in insurance premiums every year. Also if you have a car as well, this will definitely affect it especially if you have any moving violations against you.

Those thieves most likely know you have money and you became a victim of theft. You are the typical type of victim they are looking to pray on especially when they know you have money and don't care about buying a new one and simply giving them the opportunity to pray on it again. You just keep spoon feeding them and they are just laughing at you. Im pretty sure they are a member on here or someone who knows them are passing on the word. No offense...Where was this shooter from the Eaton Center been when you need him for these kind of situations. (Sorry for the lost for those victims in the Eaton Center Shooting)

Lol at all the angry, jealous trouts here attacking the OP instead of denouncig the thieves!

thread is full of fail, you'd think by now with two bikes stolen you'd learn to either keep it somewhere else or ride something that isn't as much of a theft target.

It's like a kid that keeps burning his hands on the stove, except keeps going back for more. You people who keep saying "ya go for it keep living the dream wooo"...**** man, this is imo what makes riders look freaking retarded with zero sense of responsibility, liability, or logic.

I'm lucky to have a coworker/friend who lives a 7 minute walk from my townhome, which has a shared underground parking so she lets me park the bike (which isn't even high-end) in her garage. Our parking spaces go for $30,000 a pop and we have already two, parking beside them is against the property managers regulations and I can imagine taking an entire visitors spot would irritate a few neighbours. I don't pay her any rent but I try to be considerate with my comings and goings.

Im sorry for OP's loss, if I could handle/afford a high end sport bike and a car and didn't have a set up like I do now, I'd either have to have the same attitude as he has and call it a cost of riding a sexy bike or find somewhere to securely park it and walk/drive to ride. It's safe to assume (?) isn't OPs only mode of transportation and he probably rides out of passion. It's his right to own whatever he likes and can afford so it's sad that there is no solution or effort to solve the problem of motorcycle theft in condos.

I like the post about making it mandatory for condo boards to allow motorcycle owners to bolt and chain their rides. Insurance companies can then flag high risk bikes to only be insurable with a bolt and chain and from what I've read it isn't overly difficult or costly.

Sometimes I'm glad no one wants my bike or knows what it is :)

So i am pretty sure i saw that POS in that same van at Bathurst and Front at around 730pm. Tried to follow but got blocked by a street car.

Alrighty there Mr. Spell Check...:) I guess your so PERFECT that you had to read over my paragraph several times to notice that Pray=Prey. I think you forgot to spell check ****=****. I hope you were smart enough to understand what I was trying to say. Anyways, in regards to your message these are my personal opinions and I hope you don't take it personally. I am just saying, when something like this happens you definitely need to learn your lesson and become more wiser and obviously attitude is a main factor.
