I've decided to go Perf thanks to your suggestions.
With regards to the liner, there's no way i'll be able to fit another layer under the suit, even when wearing UA/VNM type base layer with a backprotector. I guess it'll be a windbreaker over the suit.

How did you do this?
Perf is the only way for summer. My perf jacket with the included liner is fine down to about 6C. Any lower and I need more layers/something over top.

Nope, punching pins thru it doesn't work. Have to use something to cut small holes, like a leather punch. If not a small metal tube sharpened and used to drill the leather will do it....like a metal pen ink insert/refill. Dry of course. Remove the tip, insert like a drill bit, run at an angle against a sharpening stone and then drill the leather with a piece of wood behind it.
