Paintball, anyone?

Anyone in here play paintball regularly? I'm thinking of getting back into it, but lost touch with almost all the guys I used to play with back in the 90's. I was super hardcore and pretty connected to the local scene back then playing every weekend rain or shine, plus in the winters at my friend's outlaw field on 15 Sideroad. I don't even remember how or why I slowed down, but it got to the point where the only games I played were the ones I arranged for coworkers when they expressed interest.

Used to play and work part time at paintball nation when it first opened. Enjoyed it, but I'm to slow to be any good now.

I've got a load of old markers just collecting dust, free to a good home.

Angel/Spyder/Sterling pump and barrel kits among tippman stuff.

Never played there. It opened after I had already stopped, and I wasn't really keen on indoor fields anyways. The original Paintball City on Milvan was the exception - I really enjoyed it since it was smaller and designed so nobody could just camp out in a dark corner and take pot shots. It kept everyone on their feet and moving, a bit like a speedball field.

Outdoors is the way to go, but then you have to budget for an entire day, especially if you're going up to Wasaga Beach. We pretty much stopped going anywhere else when they first opened with their real bathrooms and running water.

Use to go up to my buddies farm near Port Perry with 10 -15 guys aged 14-55. We had a blast and absolutely loved it, Unfortunately we stopped, not sure why.

The only thing better than a private game is a private game on a private "outlaw" field. My friend's property had a wooded area as well as an abandoned 2-storey house with holes in the floors we were allowed to use. You'd never see something like that on a commercial field where silly things like liability are taken into consideration.
