Pacific mall area riding. obstacle course

Pmall always has some scary drivers. Even in my car, I find myself being extra careful there because there are more terrible drivers in that area than I would like.

I wouldn't rage at them too much because I doubt they even know that they are driving badly and would probably just get spooked by constant horns and yelling.

P-mall is horrible. Once you get through the people who can't drive..in the mall you deal with people who can't even walk straight. Wandering around aimlessly bumping into others every 2 seconds. The sense of direction/coordination in that area is close to zero.

"Defensive riding" will get yourself killed in that area... try riding more aggressively and you'll be safe :D

You can't ride the 400 highways with an M-1 but you can practice at Pacific Mall because it's safer. gag

It sounds to me like the OP fits right in there.

You should have rolled back into him and then claimed damages.....

I'm kidding...

I think this one takes the cake... yesterday (Sunday), at Kennedy and Huntingwood (in between Finch and Sheppard, I was turning left from north-bound kennedy to west-bound huntingwood. As the light turns red, the suv at the light stops, no one on the right land, so I start to execute my left turn. As I'm 3/4 completed, I see another SUV behind the stopped SUV at the light stop hard and had to surf to the right empty lane... but the best part is that the driver continues to run the red light. I wish I had the GoPro mount in my car when I was driving that day. Would have posted a video of it!

I live in the area, and it is unsafe to ride to PMall. Avoid the mall at all costs. I'm unsure how North Scarborough compares to Brampton, but South Scarbrough can't be beat for gun shootings! I do count my blessings.

I live in the area and avoid that parking lot at all costs. I don't even like passing through the intersection of kennedy/steeles. Always detour through passmore.

Pacific mall area is worse then Brampton for drivers, but in Brampton the bad drivers have trucks.

maybe OP sucks at riding. my rode to p mall tons of times. never had a problem.

My riding isn't the greatest, but I know how to ride. Defensive riding definitely didn't help either. When you're stopped at a red light and a car comes up right on your tail an inch behind you and he has to brake hard, it's scary AF.

ITS ALL THE THIRD WORLD DRIVERS...

write to your politicians for stricter licensing regulations. its a money grab at this point. the more drivers the more money that gets pumped into the goverment and into the economy.

there is RETARDS out there that have never sat in a car in their life, and they are driving taxi cabs and 18 wheelers.

no blind spot checks, no visual awareness of their surrounding a zero knowledge of road ethics.

pacific mall richmond hill they are driving bmw and mercedes. they cant drive. you visually look at them and you can see they are not in control.

please spare me the obvious respond that there are homegrown drivers that are bad too. yes i know we do, and they are only gonna get worse because we are only as good as our weakest link.

say your prayers and ride safe everyone

Markham generally isn't a good place to ride. Coming from someone who rides in Richmond Hill, I don't like going into Markham.
