Orange thread locker

Permatex has an orange threadlocker that is removable with "extra force". The package specs the breakaway and prevail point in ft/lbs. Not sure what the difference would be though.

Anyone using this? Any issues?

I use light blue or dark blue most often. If I need more hold than that, I would prefer a mechanical solution (nylock, double nut, safety wire, metal lock nut, etc). I have only used red a couple times and I've never seen orange.

Is this their version of red locktite?

They also have red. This is above blue and below red. For the home gamer it seems like a solution in search of a question. For a manufacturer, there may be a compelling reason to use orange. Maybe if TT had issues with blue not holding in a certain application, he would try orange now as red should rarely be used unless you hate future you.
