Hope all is well! I have been riding for quite some time, mainly in the US. Love to ride, and I ride any and all styles...have owned 600cc sport bikes all the way up to a 1200cc Ducati sportbike. Currently riding a 2018 Kawasaki z900RS, but also have the 81 CB650 cafe racer as well.

The Z900RS is beautiful and on my bucket list of bikes to own one day, how do you like it?
 
It’s a fun bike, and really can go go go! Lots of power for a cafe racer!

I love it, however I think my rider position is a little more upright than I’d like in a sporty cafe racer. I’m thinking about putting on some clip on to lower my stance a bit and help with the wind beating my neck up.
 
Flat bars is usually an easier cheaper install then clip-ons, if you go clip-ons you will likely end up needing to lower the saddle height as well.
 
Yes, you are probably right. I tried flat bars...the ones that Rizoma makes. That didn’t work because they would hit my tank. The handlebar job has been pretty tricky. I have tried a lot.
