October 26 - 19 degrees and overcast - a perfect day for riding.
235 kilometers on smooth highway to broken pavement with lots of leaves.
I had rode 100 km cautiosly the day before to break in the new tires.
They are dual purpose tires but are 95% street and 5% off road.
In "MY" opinion this is about the average for most "dual purpose" motorcycles.
I am sure I am going to get slamed by all the die hard dual purpose riders but you are a minority.
To get back to the tires, I am impressed.
They corner well be it 100kph plus sweepers to 20 kph off camber switchbacks.
Only had one twitch of the back end but that was due to 2 inches of leaves in a corner.
They have a very light feel and require less effort to corner than the stock Pirelli Street Demon.
Only time will tell if the wear life is as good as the reports.
Of course there has to be a down side.
Pirelli no longer makes the front tire size I need so I am shopping for old stock for a replacement.
