Not sure how i feel

Both my kids ride 7 and 9 I would expect that either of them would not get on with anyone else. I don't think selling the bike would make any difference.

If she gets her own bike she might not like riding pillion, especially if he's an idiot. A safety course might teach her what to look out for.

Not a dad, but I remember what it was like being in my mid-20s.

If my gf's old man pulled me aside and gave me a lecture on safety, I'd nod my head and feign respect, but I'd be rippin' wheelies in my head the entire time, all the while smiling and nodding...

Agree with the posters who suggest getting the daughter her own ride. She's in control of her own destiny and most importantly: no testosterone, no stupidity...

As a father of daughters, they have been pillion with me often. They know what’s needed to protect themselves before swinging a leg over the seat. Previous post recommending a ride with the fella is a good one.

I’ve seen my kids drive and that scares the heck out of me. They should know better but, the bought their own vehicles and pay for them to be on the road etc.

While my kids expressed interest in getting their M license, they never did. I wish they did. Since my kids don’t listen to me, I come here and post words of wisdom to be ignored. 😆

I feel you OP. Love and support them the best you can.

He is in his mid 20s, seems like a respectable young man. but all bets are off when you get on a ltr bike and stupid kicks in
Mid 20s and litre bike (I assume sportbike???) raise flags for me, one of them, is he riding dirty? We all know how much insurance is in these cases.

For me (maybe others disagree), if he is riding dirty (regardless of sportbike or not) that is a major red flag about actually being respectable/responsible. It would be a question I would ask very directly with both present.

Once Upon A Tyme, I was a young loon lusting after someone`s daughters. I oddly never rode as such with any passenger, the OP should be more concerned about an unwanted pregnancy IMO. 🙃 I did know a guy who was real close friends with another guys wife however. He crashed his 500 Kawi H1, late night, with her aboard, she badly broke both legs.... that was some explaining to do. So there is that.

LOL..."lusting after someone's daughter", "unwanted pregnancy", "crashed..badly broke both legs", I don't think you're helping put his mind at ease.
