Ninja 650r Riders a Question

I've got a '10 ER-6n. Same bike, no fairings. I'm at Morningside, and plan on riding tmrw... 650 meet? lol.

Got a 08 here haha, hamilton tho. The guy I bought it from said he spent a lot of time detecting the buzz and putting foam inbetween the problem areas. Sounds like it was a lot of work, but I have no issues now lol

matt i just got mine and want to do a couple of solo rides first, if you are doing your sports bars, on the throttle side dont take off the MC and the kill switch like it says on the manual, just loosen them and you can slide it off and then slude back on ,,, it saves a lot of grief

Are you referring to the buzzing noise comming from the dash area ? There was service notice on that I think.

kawi put out a recall to fix fairing buzz, however it only semi fixed the buzz, if you want it tight so all you hear is engine there are links all over the net All you 650r riders should come to kawi wednesdays at leslie n yorkmills,
I would love to see some other 65Or

Everything you need and want to know about a 650r

to be honest the little buzz does not bother me as much but what bithers me is when i let go if the throttle or pul the clutch in, there is a scratching or rubbing sound at lower speeds , its in rythem it happens even splut second apart so i am guessing it had to be something rubbing on the tire right?

Is the sound comming from the front tire near the brakes ? If its a buzzing fairing sound ' I usually hear it more when the I'm slowing down and using engine braking.

at this point i cannot pick out where it is coming from exactly... buti hear it when i am slowing and off the throttle or clutch in, but its in sync so thats why it leads me to beleive its wheel related
