Ninja 250 vs 300?

Ninja 300, slightly less slow than the really slow 250, at twice the cost!

Skip it and buy a big kid's bike, you won't wanna sell it after a season.

I will have to disagree with you. For a first time rider the 300 is one of the better bikes. Some new riders are not comfortable enough to go to a bigger bike and truly not experienced enough to ride a bigger bike. With the 300 starting at just over $5000 it is not double the price of the 250. some used 250's are still going for $3000 - $4000 USED. It might seem slow to an experienced rider but for someone that wants to get into riding and wants something that is great to learn on the 300 is an excellent choice. Plus the resale value on the 300 will be very good with how popular the bike is already.

Considering OP currently rides an R6, and says he felt the 250 was slow... I'd say he's not gonna be thrilled about a 300. Slow is slow.

And for 7K I could easily get an '08 600cc

Dude, I saw a 08 ZX10r for 6500 at a DEALER!! I actually couldn't believe it...

and lol its you again, those Ninjette people are a real bunch of *******... you got banned just for standing up to and questioning the ****ing dictator...

lol noted.
I'm not sure if Bagman was joking or not, but the person who posted in that thread has NO idea what they are doing. He saw STEAM from rain on his radiator/exhaust (of course only when at a stop, because when you're moving the steam is blown under the bike so you can't see it).

You will see steam in the rain, it might smell funny too. Do NOT just dump a bunch of oil in your bike like the person in that thread.

Search "ninja 250 top speed run" on youtube to get an idea, the ones where they start on the highway are good to see their acceleration (or lack there of).
