Heres a picture of a Triumph Rocket Touring that has been stripped and modified.
I think it looks really sharp, it has plenty of power at 2300cc of brute torque.

It is all a matter of what you are looking for. Definetely not for twisties.Long distance, most certainly. Met a guy at Apex Sports that had one and that is exactly what he said. He absolutely loved it.

Think so with 2390 cc. Enough power. Imagine a fiat 500 with at least 2 passengers on board. The triumph`s engine size is ample.

Id take a vmax over it any day.

Well, ok this forum is more one sided towards sportsbike riders anyway.
The V-max is a nice bike, but is it comfortable to ride long distances?
By long ,I mean from here to Florida or Vancouver?

Looks way better in its stock form.

This is the response you get when I'm bored and have an iPhone.

The V-Max is a nice bike but it only has a 15 litre gas tank and is only good for about 160kms between fill ups....not the best for going to Vancouver.

Is there enough room under the saddle for the boom crane that you'll need to pick it up if it tips over? Also, is the side stand plate the size of a garbage can lid to stop it from sinking into the asphalt in warm weather?

Cool looking bike I just don't get the tail piece. They basically just took the 675 tail and put it on, just doesn't look right, but everything else looks boss.

JC, if you do not know how to pick up a 900 lb bike after toppling it on its side then you should not be riding anything other than 250cc CBR.
This is a big boys bike, not a dinky toy for wussys.
