Yeah - I was having a chat with a mother and two kids about travel destinations and kept having to stop while some dunderhead in loud pipes pulled out.
Let's not hijack this thread, but only point out that in Ontario, it is not against the law to overtake across a solid center line marking. If there is a sign that says no passing, that's different. If there is a specific visibility issue within a specific distance as outlined in the HTA, that's also different. But a solid center line marking on its own is not a prohibition against overtaking.
