Niagara Falls Route - From Toronto

Hello Folks,
I have strangely never done the Toronto to Niagara ride on a bike.
What would be a good route to take and are there nice routes around the Niagara area I could take advantage of?

I recall some nice roads through Niagara on the lake and some great observation points but not certain whether I will run into a million stop signs and traffic. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If you get off at centennial Parkway in Hamilton and shoot up to Ridge road then you can follow that all the way to Beamsville, then head south until you hit 20 mile creek road (RR69). Follow that into St Catharines, Hit Effingham is you like, head north to NOTL and follow the Niagara parkway into Niagara falls.

Depending on the weather and time of day the Parkway can be scenic or a tourist traffic infected slog.

Thanks for the route, I will give it a shot a report :)
