well i just got my first street bike, and thought i would register on this site for any help or questions i may need. i purchased a 2003 gsxr 1000, beautiful bike, real good shape. i am not going to put it on the road untill, the spring and am going to give the bike a once over, over the winter. cheers guys! what tires do you guys recommend.

What tires come stock on the bike? I'd stick with those. But as a suggestion, I have BT16's and like them. Others like the Pilots. Lots of choices out there but I'm not convinced for general street riding one tire is much better than any other.
The only suggestion I'd give is check out Pete's Superbike before you purchase. Great prices, and great service. Fast shipping.
