new Husqvarna- Nuda 900R

Another bike I have really liked for the past 2 yrs is the BMW F800R....however, I felt it just wasn't aggressive enough. DIdn't have enough "edge". This bike solves all of that.

I kind of thought I will like the F800R as well, but after 1hr demo ride, it left me cold. I mean it was OK, but not open-my-wallet good. Plus at the price of almost 12K you get dumb non-adjustable forks my biggest beef. Hence, it will be mighty interesting where will BMW set the price for the Husky. With all the Brembo stuff and fully adjustable forks, Ohlins in the rear, you'd think it must be over 12K .... unless they will just stop selling F800R, because I am not sure who'd buy it at that price. Maybe people who don't like fun or are very short ... LOL

Actually it is dry 305 lbs vs under 385lbs (that's all they have said so far ...). So it's 80lbs, but you get a lot more HP and torque with it. Looks good on paper, for sure.

Last time I saw a KTM 690 Duke on a scale, it was 335 lbs without fuel or battery.

the husky supermoto is the first SM with a low side exhaust instead of high side exhaust. wtf is up with that?

Lots of bikes are sold with a tag "supermoto", but very few of them really are if you stick by the original supermoto definition .... Dirt bike with street wheels .... LOL

BTW, KTM used to have 690 SM bike with two low pipes one on each side ....

Yup- Loved that bike...better than the DUke's styling. Mechanically they were basically the same bike, but I liked the beak better.

Took the words right out of my mouth... Try taking that thing on a motocross track, or in the ganny hahaha. The seating position is for sure there, but still, not a motard. Then again the DRZ is a questionable one too, but still is more of a motard than that thing.

Wow, talk about raiding the BMW F800 parts bin!

Wheels, engine, windscreen, and bags are all ripped off the F8.

I do like that pic with the bike in black though. Looks pretty good.

This is what the F800R should've been to begin with. This thing will mop the floor with the BMW.

Thought I recognized your "style". So they let you in again, eh, iridebikes? Wonder how long it will be til the ban hammer comes down again.

Huh? You realize Husqvarna is owned by BMW right? I would've figured you'd know since you seem to be a big BMW fan... nothing is "ripped off" from the F800, seeing as its all made by the same company.
