Need help with a 2007 Suzuki s40 shifter adjustment

Hi there
is it possible to adjust the height of the shifter on a 2007 Suzuki s40?
my girlfriend just bought new boots but they won't fit under the shifter until I move it up...
please let me know if you can help me out here

Loosen the two nuts #39 and 40, then turn shaft #38 till the shifter is in the position you want. Tighten the two lock nuts and you're done.
Careful, one of those nuts is left handed thread.

Suzukisavage.com is awesome resource for S40 . Best upgrade you can do on that bike is fork brace. It makes bike handle much better. And you can put sportster seat on it if I remember correctly

Lol she needs to upgrade very soon
went to New Brunswick and back and realized she needs a bigger bike...
no point in spending money on it now
