I find this thread a bit strange, asking others what bike you should get is kinda like asking which girl you should date.
Just my .02, no need to get all jerry springer on me.

Only reason I ask for sdvice, been with one Manufacturer for so long it cheaper to ask about other riders experiences with other brands than to buy one find out the hard expensive way. Friend bought a RC8, beautiful bike has had nothing but grief from dealer support to reliability. I'm trying to bypass that part of the equation. We all have a favorite brand and we are all byest towards that brand.
I refuse to believe what a salesman tells me. I'd rather hear an opinion from a group of riders.
I love Honda's they have been very good to me. The dealer I purchased it from is why I'm looking else where. ( They registered the bike as sold to Honda 4 months before it was paid for, they only had a deposit.) Screwed me out of 4 months of warranty and didnt tell me...
