Hey this is my first year riding and I'm looking to get an oil change and get a couple things on my bike looked at, anyone know a decent place in Toronto to do that?

Had a friend recently go visit a local shop for a "tune up" ended up spending almost $1000 on an oil change and some tires :lmao:

Word of advice, learn how to do your own oil changes and save yourself a bundle. If you need tires research where to get em (petes) and go to a shop to have them installed. Seems that our "local" shops take advantage of people.

What bike you have and what do you need done?

I have a Honda Shadow 500C from 1983, it has the red oil light on and seems to be over heating a bit

Where are you located?

After Ross left I can't recommend Markham outdoor anymore - had a nasty experience there last year. Otherwise go to ...\l/

Speedworx. Fawaz is the owner. Great guy and superb service. Not sure if they work on old bikes though. ...

Fawaz is definitly the man. Treats his customers great and won't try to sell you things you don't need and his mechanic knows his stuff. His labour is less than most too.

For your bike and location, Rosey Toes. Also, if the oil light is on, it means you have NO oil pressure on that bike. Do not ride it, you will ruin the engine. Check the oil level, if it is low, top it up and see if the light goes off.

That's too bad that you can't recommend them anymore--to each their own.

...but...

I've been going there for years and if anything the dealership has improved since Ross left, IMHO.
