Apparently its pronounced CLIMB - pesky Europeans.Isn't that a short i?
So if you are riding a ducati and wearing klim, can you actually see the road? At that point your nose is so high you are almost looking backwards.Pretty sure the exact way to say it is “climb” whilst also holding your nose higher as you look above the peasants wearing Joe Rocket.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.So if you are riding a ducati and wearing klim, can you actually see the road? At that point your nose is so high you are almost looking backwards.
Owning them isn't bad. I don't think raising the nose helps anyone. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
Well, from what I understand about the story - the owners just couldn't figure out a name for the company. At a brain storming session someone had a box of milk of some sort. There was a reflective surface beside it. The reflection read "kliM". So, they made it a bit different with the hard sounding letter "i."Apparently its pronounced CLIMB - pesky Europeans.
What happened to aerostitch? Not the top of the pile anymore?I have owned lots of goretex clothing and gear over many years. Most were good but not 100% waterproof. My Klim suit is.
Expensive, yes. The best? YES!
Never had one. It's very good gear. But lots of reviews about it not being 100% waterproof. What happened to aerostitch? Not the top of the pile anymore?
I've had a bunch of Teknic stuff over the years, and it all worked great. Two piece leather suit, kangaroo track suit, various gloves, a mesh jacket, and a few other odds and ends. I was very disappointed when they went bust, but considering their gear was also surprisingly cheap, it wasn't a huge surprise. I mentioned it in another thread, but one of the dealerships at the most recent motorcycle show had baskets of entry-level Teknic gloves. A real blast from the past, considering I think they went belly-up ages ago...My Tecnik 4 season was 1/2 the price, twice the jacket... sadly they are out of business. I
Agreed about the helmet. Very comfy. Good ventilation. Very light. But overall qac construction is poor. And the visor mechanism is junk. Would not buy again. My go to is Klim Dakars - I love it for +10 degree riding. I have Klim snowmobile stuff its great too.
I'm not a fan of the quality of their gloves, and helmets. Their 4 season MC gear is well made, but I find it uncomfortable. My Badlands is hot, heavy, and sweaty, and it faded horribly as they font use UV protected fabrics.
