To rule out the gas, you have to get rid of what's in the tank. Drain or use it up. Remember there's still lots in the system even with an almost empty tank.
Unless you bought the questionable tank of gas at some tiny Podunk gas station and the problems started immediately after you left, it's unlikely to be a gas quality issue.
Pioneer and Husky were both known to have unexplained issues with Saturn cars.Gas either at Pioneer or Husky. And no the problem did not start immediately after I got gas, it started about 5o klicks after the fillup.
