My 2009 Ninja 250 Fender Chop

Decided to chop the rear fender on my 2009 Ninja 250, here is the result. I cut along the edge following where the stock license plate light is so that there was some meat left over. Then I cut two slots so I could stick the stock license plate holder up in there, to hide the cut from the back and bring the plate up high towards the light, so I didn't have some ugly *** brackets showing. The L brackets holding the stock plate bracket had to be custom bent with some pliers in order to fit. Pretty easy, just have to take your time, be patient.

Ignore the raised rear seat, I lost my damn key in the process! Now I have a whole new problem to deal with :/

Nice job!

Good luck with the key!

haha how did you end up losing the key? You threw it away with the rest of the mud guard?

Put a black surround on the plate to finish the look. You will curse the bob job though during your first ride in the rain and crap on the roads. Be prepared for the back of your jacket covered in crud.

I have had fender eliminators on both of my bikes and I have never found this to be a problem, or even bother me in the slightest. But then I guess everyone is different. I always got covered in crap when it rained anyway, fender or not.

Good job on the fender cut, looks pretty clean.
