2018 Sidestand may break.

This seems to be a common fault with the Diavel. 2012-2013.

Mine broke. 2012 Diavel Was also on a recall list.

Sorry, if i was not clear. It was for the Multistrada. 2018.

However, Had the same problems on the 2011 and 2012 Diavels.

Good thing I don't have one....I pivot my bike on the side stand to turn around sometimes.

On older Ducs the sidestand bracket was part of the engine case.Pivot the bike and snap the bracket...new engine case! Haha.
Newer designs are better,but still not foolproof.On my 09 MTS,if you unbolt the footpeg bracket to access the countershaft sprocket,The sidestand won't be able to stay in place.Boom.
Italians are peculiar in their designs.And i'm thinking of buying a new one next year.Lol.
