Dont FORGET about the padlock.. could be an expensive mistake to move the bike and damage the rotors - drop bike..

I have used a scorpio on a bike for over 2 weeks without use and there was no battery drain - bike started ok. After 30days the scorpio has a nother mode( sleep or turn off - cant remember)

Mine does the 30 day thing. It's also never ever drained anything and it's on all the time.

In US motels, 99% of the time you will be parking straight in front of your window.
IMO, it's the last place that a thief would steal a motorcycle.

And, there will be many other bikes at these hotels, that noone will bother to touch yours.. at least that was the motivation for me during my travels :)
