moved up to a ninja 300 from a cbr 125, regretting it --- why is bigger better?

"why is bigger better?"

Ron, more bang for the buck :)

Ride what you like and I will ride what I like, the world does not revolve around squirrel cage tin can noisy sport bikes. Like I care what you
think.. Not like I have to rev the hell out of a bike to get from A to B. I only stated could leave a 300 cc in the dust, with the many upgrades
done on my bike I will stick to the facts not wishfull thinking.

its not your choice of bike I have a problem with. Look at what you wrote and revisit your definition of facts.

Well that's your experience, my XL883C is reliable, fast, good looking :),, and best bike owned so far, like it so much will buy another soon. I have no problems with brakes, electrical or anything on it, it's rubber mount Evo is bullet proof, and a snap to upgrade to 1250.. being comfortable on a bike depends really on rider not the bike.
Forward controls and an upgrade to make clutch easy makes it pure joy to ride...

I'm curious, what other bikes have you owned?

don't matter when you don't know what to do with it...You'll be **** outta luck, cuz you probably can't ride worth a ****...

Well that's calling the kettle black , how long before you move the litte moped out of the parking lot :) fraid of traffic?

Are you going to make a federal case because I enjoy the bike I own? a bike is a bike move on.

Huh... I was also curious.

You sir, belong on that bike. It suits you.

Kawasaki Lawnmower 300RRRRRRR & A hunk of chrome that cost an arm and a leg..

That's what you all are arguing over :lmao:

I have friends that ride harleys,so I wasn't going to bash you about it. You said out of ALL the bikes you have owned, you like your harley the most. But as far as I know you have only owned two. 250 ninja and 883 that is not enough bikes to say out of all...

It's a valid question. You stated it was the best bike you've owned. We are just wondering what you are comparing it to.

2 of my friends started on that bike and loved it as their first bike. They both have moved up in ccs but stayed loyal to HD

My apology thought you were ribbing me,I have owned only a few bikes, a few 100's a few 250's, a BSA in highschool, and my present Sportster, I mainly like it because it fits
me pretty good, and has enough power to get me out of a bad situation and a little less power to not get me in a bad situation. The weight is just how I
like it not so heavy that can not move it around. I get compliments everyday from people..it's a keeper for me. I live in a mountain hill city and handles
ok with practice.

It is the best bike have owned so far, but I relize many many bikes are excellent. In traffic it is very nimble and so well balanced that it's no effort at all to keep bike uprite feet up on pegs longer while turning in busy slow intersections etc. At stop signs not a good idea but bike is stable enough also for few seconds upright while scoping traffic patterns.

his 250 wasn't a Ninja...not if he could barely maintain highway speeds...
