Mounting Scala Rider to Scorpion EXO Helmet

OK, I am trying to put the Helmet clamp for the Scala Rider Q2 onto my Scorpion EXO helmet. Problem is, the edge of the helmet is too thick to use the clamp and there does not seem to be enough level smooth surface for the glue plate to adhere securely to. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a solution?

I just sliced a slit into the side and slid the clamp through, works like a charm.

Mine and wifey's are on a pair of EXO 700's. They clamped on no problems.

I just used the adhesive strip. Worked perfect.

Thanks folks, I too used the adhesive strip. (better than drilling two holes)
