I like the note at the tail-end about the revolver, brigands and Union Jack!
Seriously, was the thought or perception that the Brit flag would be a deterrent to brigands?
 
"One man Caravan" is a pretty awesome read. And it makes Mcgregor and Borman look like a couple of wusses.

As for sulphate of quinine, sperm oil and permanganate of potash well never leave home without em....

At a point in history the sun never set on the British empire , and the British army or navy would travel the globe to hunt down those that dare accost someone flying the UnionJack . Power has shifted somewhat.
