Motorcycles...................................... by Lotus?

Takes more than hp to beat everything. Look at the BMW for example

Looks like their only selling point at the moment... Seems to be their only detail they're "sure" about in the announcement as others are only "Likely" to happen.

What?? No pics?
Booo!

By the tone of that announcement, it will be a aimed at the rich / limited edition / high-end crowd, just like Lotus cars, so I'd expect prices way above Ducati's price range.

If anybody in the race engineering world can do this its Lotus. They have been quieting making GP parts for years. It will be silly expensive, limited production, and they will sell all they care to build.
Like Norton, the "new" Vincent and Brough, there will be a lineup to own one.

is it gonna be Lotus cover with Toyota engine?

I don't mind. The Corolla I had went up to 600,000 before it was given away!
Yes, but the Corolla you had takes 5 business days to reach a quarter mile.

Yes but that's why we have bikes right? ;)

I'm wondering how much insurance will be on this bike? 16, just got my M1, but I have used pedal bikes in the past. Please tell me the best company

Doesn't/didn't Yamaha build Toyota's racing engines?
Lotus used Toyota blocks, Yamaha heads, and Lotus designed superchargers. Despite the snobs in this thread, the Exige is by far one of the best cars to drive on a track day.
However, Lotus was bought by a hedge fund and is poorly managed, they are now the Hello Kitty of car brands. They will sell the brand to anyone.
