Can also brake a bead with a big C-clamp and a couple pieces of wood to protect the rim. Maybe not ideal if you are going to do huge volumes, but it works.
I change a ton of tires (anyone who does track does really), the 3 spoons work fine (you get good at it pretty quickly), breaking the bead is the most work. For that I recommend one of these:
buy a box of weights online, thats all you really need. Youtube will show you how to use the spoons. The key is to use the spoons in the right order for the right purpose. Spoons are $20-$30, the bead breaker is about $90, one time buy, its worth it not to have to dick around with 2x4's or c-clamps.
