~$10 an hour for training isn't a bad deal.

I'm never sure about this kind of training though. If you need the training to be able to do minor maintenance, I'm not sure you have the right aptitude to be doing it without supervision. Of course, some people will have the aptitude and use the course to avoid common pitfalls and learn the correct way to get things done.
