Not sure if people are generally aware...


I was reading an article earlier and it noted a Motorcycle Friendly program that Best Western runs that may be of interest to travellers..

According to the article there are 85 locations in Canada and a few hundred in the US. it gets you special parking, cleaners for your bike, water, and some preferred rates.

Hopefully this infor is of some use to somebody on their next trip. :cheers:

In Truro NS, I stayed at a Comfort in, they had a better discount the CAA simply because I was on a motorcycle. I did see a few places advertising motorcycle wash bays with the hotel. See more of it around great biking areas.

I'm on the HD program and ride a Goldwing.

I can get the same rates with a CAA card.

Hotel rates are verrry flexible if you know how to play them.

I've stayed at the M/C friendly places and they don't automatically give you the bike wash package. No biggie.

To me M/C friendly means safe parking for the bike, something few places have.
 
Millstream Inn in Coudersport - no deals, ucky but free breakfast, friendly staff and superb safe parking out front monitored by desk staff on duty 24 hours.
Rooms were fine. Not so cheap. WIfi was free. Having the breakfast there was a good thing tho
