There are three Hondas and two Yamahas in the top five. Why do non-Honda people keep saying that Honda is dominating like they're some evil empire? Lorenzo is second in the championship and Stoner is the only one dominating. There aren't four Hondas crossing the line together at the end of every race.
Right, but it doesn't mean anything ..... The rules matter more than who the owner is. At least for us the fans. If you keep strictly production bikes (which is not what they today) in WSBK and somewhat prototypes in motoGP all be fine. We will see very soon. I think the future is to bring more bikes on the MotoGP grid. For that to happen you have to allow something mass produced in so it gets cheaper to either build or rent. We will see next year with CRT bikes. if it is a success I am sure you will see many many more CRT bikes. Now, CRT bike will mean R1 (not stock of course) motor in prototype frame (kind of like Moto2, except for the single engine rule; btw this rule will most likely go away in the future)
Yes, it could happen that in the future there will not be a room for both series, but I am not sure it would be the end of the world or necessarily bad at all.
