MotoGP buys WSBK!

Well, that's one way of resolving the differences between the two series ... WSBK has been annoyed at MotoGP's move towards four-strokes.

Does anyone even pay attention to WSBK anymore?

Where did you read it - link please? I only heard there are 3 potential buyers and one of them is MotoGP

Moto gp didn't buy wsbk. Bridgepoint is now the owner of both series. It's in their best interest to keep them separate.

Ever since MotoGP went 4-stroke and the Japanese gave up on competing against Ducati with their own big twins, interest has really died here.

Might have something to do with having one North American date on the calender, and the circuit they use is in the middle of nowhere.

I still like it the most. And in 2012 - 800 and 1000 cc engines plus CRT teams, we shall see how it will shake up the grid.

WSBK still has great attendance and support, just not in north America.

WSS is right up there with moto2 for the fun factor.

I actually find WSBK more exciting to watch.... its not a parade lapping session like Moto GP has been for most of the races this year. They just need to step up the camera work. I do see this move as very dangerous to WSBK's future. too bad.
