Moto Canada Motorcycle Show - Montreal vs Toronto?

Same organizer for the upcoming Toronto and Montreal shows. Has anyone been to both and how do they compare? I've been to the Toronto one a few times recently and like it better than the January Supershow because of the better manufacturer presence. But even then, they don't always bring the latest and greatest models.

A lot of the OEMs ditched last year, propped up by dealer exhibits. If you can find a complete, detailed list of who will be attending that might help ?

"More information coming soon." - sigh...

All I really wanted to know is how the same show at the two locations compare. The way I see it, if a manufacturer isn't showing to one, they're probably not showing to either. We have GP Bikes, Montreal has Pete's. Rightly or wrongly, my impression is that the motorcycle culture is bigger in Montreal, even though it's a much smaller city, so I expected the show to be larger (have more vendors).

I haven't been to a Montreal show since the days of Salon de Moto. It was a much bigger show than Toronto at that time. Unless the current organizers are able to provide a proper list of exhibitors/retailers it's a tough call. Sorry I don't have a better answer.

The Montreal show will be a bigger show because the culture is bigger there. It's nearly always the better show to go to, and I think it's a fun weekend holiday to take. I'd go to the Montreal show over the Toronto one myself.

I could believe that, as they lean more Euro and bike culture is more engrained in Europe than in Canada.

Lived there a few years and the dynamics are different. Size yes - big difference, and also that traffic patterns are different; fewer, smaller suburbs with less people making the trip downtown every day. That sort of thing.

I don’t see packs of guys doing wheelies down the street that I do here (they seem to like the street just behind my building, all damn summer, unfortunately). That’s one difference…
