May, 29th @ SMP - HOOOLLLLLAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

Well it gives me shorter lap times.....

It avoids 4B, 6A bad asphalt and then misses exit bump from 7.

So I like it better but I miss my favourite T3 and T5 on Long.

Is it that much better than long?

I've only ever done Pro Track once, and it was fun, but Long is definitely better for overall practice.

Shaman, missed you on Sunday. Too bad you didn't make it out.

Have fun on Thursday, guys. I'll be putting my dirt bike back together getting ready for Saturday up at Ganny. :)

I didn't know that you're mexican with this Hoollaa.lol
I'll prob see you sometimes this summer.
Lol, I'll be doing a couple of consecutive days at Calabogie for sure this summer. Will keep you posted.

Better, period, in my opinion. The Pro is all about speed and the berzerk 2-3 section, but it's ... dare I say, boring?

Would have if I could. My band had a gig the night before, which means I'd have to pack up the gear, get to bed about 2am and then jump in the truck at 5:30 to make it to Mosport. Nothing good could come of that, I think. :( But I did make it there yesterday, with mixed results. I rode reasonably well for my first track day but it took me several sessions to come to grips with the 1000 again. Really, I only rode that bike a few times from 2012 to 2014, with the emphasis on my 600 last year.

I might make it to the 29th event yet, but I have to change out tires and wheels on the 1000 at the minimum. The rear was completely roasted yesterday, turned me around about 20 degrees in corner 10 in 4th gear, then again at the exit of corner 1... then again exiting 3... and that isn't my idea of "safety first," so I dropped two laps off the last session. :)

Yep, I'd say that too. I would like to do a day where it's Pro in the morning and Long in the afternoon, but that never happens, and when it does people go the wrong way. LOL

We were at SMP on Sunday, not Mosport. You could have jumped in the truck 2 hours later for that one. ;)

A crash before lunch resulting in an oil spill on the track at T9 (long track #).

A repair.

A return at about 2 pm with a another crash about 3 30 after the end of Fabi straight corner with the complete engine oil dump on the track.

Yup good day out for most. Only incidents of the day was a poor Srad Gsxr that went down twice (morning and afternoon sessions) and split oil (Fabi turns 2 and b/w 9 and 10).

To the Walker Racing Crew Thanks for the tips and good luck with the upcoming race weekend.

It was good to see you again.

It is a fun corner when you hit that apex. Much better lines as the day went on.

The kid is the fast one. The old man the slow one.

Thanks. Hopefully they both do well at Round 1.
