Madawaska, Ontario Dirt Bike Riding

I've ridden there years ago participating in and setting up a 2 day trail ride. There's lots of trails up there and plenty of challenging routes. Not much gas available as I recall. It seems to me most of the trails are wide enough for an ATV, but they're by no means easy to ride.

The old Ottawa, Arnprior and Parry Sound Rwy (CNR). right of way runs through Madawaska & Whitney and Algonquin park. You need to stay away from the park.

Try posting at the ODSC site Ontario Dual Sport Club Forum somebody may have some good info. You could have a look at the OFTR sire as well Ontario Federation of Trail Riders (OFTR) or perhaps the local ATV club Madawaska Valley ATVenture Club - ATV Maine

As I said, there's A LOT of trails up there. Don't let the idea that they're wide enough for an ATV to crawl through keep you off them.
