M1 temporary license

Hi all
I heard that you won’t get a new plastic card license for M1 if you are holding a G2. Is that true?
In my case, I surrendered my bike license from Ohio but only get M1. No paper license issued since they said they gonna hand over my case to MTO. I checked mail last week and the license they send me only have G2 on it but my drivers abstract states I have a G2M1.
Is it possible to take test or training course in this case?

Just bring the paper document that you were issued when you passed and your current plastic ID card.
