M1 Expiration

So I just noticed that my M1 expired months ago. I got it in August after I came back from Korea.

I tried to book the M1X test in late Nov. because I had to wait 90 days before doing so. But it now appears that my license expired on the first possible opportunity to get the M2!

Is this correct? Did I need to do my M1X test on the same day that it expires? Or am I supposed to get updated paperwork until I can do my M1X.

I was unable to book a test for that day (or any day then) since they weren't conducting the test due to the weather.

Can anyone explain this? I'm quite confused. Much thanks in advance.

Your M1 is valid for 90 days so you have those 90 days to do your M1X test and get your M2.

So I was supposed to have done my M1x test during those 90 days? Augh, I don't know how I confused that.

So theoretically I can write my M1 test and book the M1x for the same day?

^^^ yup plain and simple...you need to re-do your M1 test again. good luck
