Hey all. Wow, it's a long time since I posted here.
My M2 was about to expire. Didn't ride enough to just walk into MTO confidently and do their M2 exit.
Since I did my M1 exit at a school (Humber), I searched around for a school to help me out. It turns
out almost every school do have a M2 exit course but you need to BYOB and they test you on the
highway. Had no bike at the moment, don't have enough riding exp to go on highway, and time is
running out.
Then I found RTI has a special course that lets you get a full M on a scooter. Which means no highway
(you are put on the Allen exp instead). Provided your scooter can reach over 80km/h, it can be
considered a full speed motorcycle.
So I got a 125cc scooter. Did the course at RTI
Friday night is classroom session where they go over the safety aspects and paperwork
Saturday is riding session where the instructors go over your skills and safe riding practices. Then the test is given.
I was in a very small class - The instructor, me, and one other guy - nice. I learned alot about putting safety first
I also learned that I do need some work on my skill. But both me and the other guy passed the test.
The ride back home was good.
The Rider Training Institute's M2 exit with scooter course is recommended for anyone who needs to do a M2 exit
on a bit reduced difficulty.
Ride safe
