I'm not sure if this thread was the work of a troll or not, but the topic is a good one. I also "downsized" as I wanted something a bit more manageable for street use, cheaper to insure, and easier to work on. I went from a 135 hp (and oodles of torque) to 80 hp, but got rid of unnecessary complexity, shed some weight, lost the cumbersome plastics, got improved ergos, and overall, a much more pleasant riding experience. I find that I can still go fast enough if I want to, but this bike is more at home tooting around at 3000-3500 prm. To each their own I guess.
BTW, I can also park her wherever I want and nobody gives her a second look... so no worries about theft either
