Lights dimming when blinkers flashing

I recently mounted a set of hard bags with integrated LED turn signals. Both bags came with ( I believe ) load balancers or whatever they are called.
They were not hooked up by me and it looks like the wires are going under the seat.
Anyway, I have noticed that whenever the turn signal is on my main headlight as well as the two running lights are dimming in and out with the same frequency as the blinkers are blinking.
Is this normal when standard knights are mixed with LEDs?
If not, can anyone help me to troubleshoot this issue and/or point me to right direction to fox it?
Thanks.

Whatever is in the turn signal circuit, is pulling enough current to draw down the voltage, either because of resistance in the wiring (copper is expensive ... the manufacturers use the thinnest possible wire that they can get away with) or because the alternator and voltage regulator aren't putting out enough to keep up with demand when the turn signal is in the flash cycle.

My FZR with all stock lighting does that when the engine is idling. If the revs are up, the charging system keeps up and it doesn't do that.

oad balancers... were not hooked up by me
I would recommend ditching the resistors (load balancers) and replacing your flasher relay with a digital one. Royal sells a universal one for $20.

This can happen with a bad ground as well. the circuit can steal a ground from somewhere else in the wiring if it doesn't have a good one, or doesn't have one at all...this can cause dimming you are finding.

I would not suggest mixing "standard knights are mixed with LEDs"......bad combat choice....

Anywho.....I'd suggest unhooking the newly added on circuit/wiring/lights...see if that eliminates the issue...then trace the issue back to the source.

Thank you guys for all the info.
Sounds like I will have a winter project.
