Late season ride on the North Shore of Lake Superior

Hey All,

I rode the North Shore of Lake Superior this summer and I've written about some options for late season riding along this route. You can read my article on this here:

It's complete with photos and a video of the ride down to Sleeping Giant. If you've got a suitable tourer and have the time, I highly recommend this route.

Marathon to Thunder Bay -- beautiful ride. A long time to get there, but really worth it. My advice would be to stay in Marathon, go to TBay, come back in afternoon, do it again the next day. Seemed like a shame to spend a couple days getting there, and then to only do it once.
 
chapleau is a great run too 129 i believe its been a few years and my old age is setting in lol

Great photos!
I took that route on the way to BC this summer, one of the pics showing where one of the rest areas is looks an awful lot like where I took a quick dip to cool off.
