Knee guards/armour with full boots

conundrum

Well-known member
After recently getting a pair of SuperTech Rs, I've found I can't really wear my Dainese Knee V armour with them, as the armour is too long and goes too far into the boot. With that said, I'm looking for new pads to wear when I use the Supertechs, so I was just wondering what anyone else does for knee pads (if they wear them) and also wear full (race) boots.

Thanks in advance

What's wrong with that? I have the SMX Plus and use them with the same knee armor. Doesn't get in the way really

Why not go with a pair of leather or leather/textile riding pants with built-in armour? They're designed to work well with race boots. My A* Sport A10 leather/textile work perfectly with the SMX+.

Race pants with armor are great but not if you're going somewhere with your bike. I have the exact same problem and have yet to find an affordable solution. I know you could wear some of the longer knee/shin guards but I just don't want them going inside my boot. I wouldn't be able to wear them all the time either if that's the case.

Maybe it is my shorter legs, but the Dainese guards I have now go almost all the way to my ankle, which means I can't bend my foot at all, nor close the top strap on the Supertechs. If they only went into the tops of the boots, they might be ok, but they extend much further than that (on me).

Ugh forum isn't letting me edit my last post -- I also wanted to add I use JR Alter Ego pants as well but pulled out the built-in armour as it is 'free floating' in the pants, meaning 9 times out of 10 it isn't on my knee, and would never be/stay in place in a crash/get-off.

I have the dainese knee v guards and dainese trq race out full boot and dont seem to have any problems at all. I am not sure how the supertechs fit but the trqs have lots of room to fit the shin guards in
