King and Bathurst where to park

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone work around the area and rides your bike to work? Where do you guys park and did you guys have any problems parking there? i know there's green P parking right infront of the McDonalds but i don't see anyone parking there at least not as of yet.

I really want to take my bike to work, parking fee racks up so much

Remembrance drive by coronation park (~1km) & liberty village (~0.5km)

i just google mapped those two locations... they're at least half an hour walk...
i work right at the king and bathurst intersection.

I see a few bikes parks at steward street. 1 block south of King. I wonder if its ok.
Last thing i want is to come out of the office and find my bike lying on the ground. They can steal it, just don't let there be damage.

I assumed Queen & Dundas were out of the question for you?

Sorry, I guess I walk fast or something. I park at remembrance & get up there before 15 minutes. If it's the 3 hour limit that bothers you, I have yet to meet a parking enforcement officer who enforces it against bikes, and I'm everywhere downtown several days a week (although I'm sure someone will have a story where it happened to them one time. lol)

Any good places in that area near spadina?

There is no park around that area. The Bathurst Glen Golf Course is near there, but that's no park.

Wellington. It a fast walk from that intersection and you'll find other bikes parked there too. It's a pretty popular and busy street so no one is really going to try to mess around with your bike. Although at night there are a few clubs open so expect some drunken jackasses may see your bike, and play with it when they leave the club.

Just a heads up

I park on work property at Front/Spadina, but I see many bikes every day on Wellington just west of Spadina that never have an issue. You can also park on Wellington west of Bathurst if you work somewhere like 720 king - just walk through the condo driveway to get to work. Niagra st also has a bunch of pay and display spots.

Hi, starting to look for parking near the area.

Isn't Wellington for resident parking (w/ permit) only?
Any other suggestions?

don't forget to keep up with the discussion regarding the Council's decision to take away FREE parking from the streets for motorcycles. See the sticky in this section.

work RIGHT at the intersection of king/bathurst on 720 king street.
I've seen some bikes parked behind the building

I know there's a few guys who park on Richmond, west of Portland, east of Bathurst, on the south side. In front of 555 Richmond St W, I believe. At least like 3-6 bikes there on summer days. That's just a few minutes from King & Bathurst.

Ya but since its yet to be implemented, I'll assume another season of free parking for now. lol
Thanks for the heads up tho.

City staff are expected to report on it sometime either in April, May or June. No public consultation planned, so we won't get much warning. I'll update the sticky site when I hear anything.

hey guys,
since we are in this topic..would any of you gentlemen know any good place to park around young and eglinton..preferably free green p parking :p..

shoot!! i checked with this underground parking by my workplace and it appears i would have to invest <120 bucks/month in parking alone...soo not cool!!
